Horeke Tavern has been serving Beer since 1826 and is the first Tavern ever built in New Zealand. It is located on the waterfront of the Hokianga Harbour in the Far North District. Today it is a hotel with its own restaurant, cafe, bar and accommodation. The Tavern sits right beside the shore line and the deck is very close to the water. The cycle ends (or begins) here.
